Packed house at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for Wednesday night's King Trivia! Let's get into the recap!

For the Drinking Round, each team had to come up with their best pick up lines. The winner would be voted on by the host, and the two bartenders. All the entries are posted in the pictures above, but the winning team was Cardenas Supreme with their line, "Are you my pinky toe? Cause I want to bang you on the coffee table!" They won a round of shots for their team! All for writing down a pick up line! Who comes up with this stuff? Oh right, its me.

Coming in 3rd place were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Usually to be found in the top 3 of any team most weeks of the year, usually they're number 1 or number 2! Rarely do they get third. But sadly their 55 points couldn't get them into the top two spots this week. But they still went home with a $10 Pickwick's Pub gift card woot woot!

Coming in 2nd place scoring 68 points were another usually strong team, The Renaissance Women! WereW not always blessed with their presence, but when they do, they tear it up. They won a 20$ gift certificate!

Last but not least, Alternative Facts, another team that hovers at the top, and the team that takes the best team win photos, won the 1st place prize and a $30 gift certificate! Way to go!

QUIZ RECAP

A freezing cold Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills, the night before the Great Snow of 2019, as some were calling it. Nevertheless, King Trivia snow plowed it's way through, and sure as the US Postman, continued on, braving the California freeze, and several enthusiastic King Trivia players did too!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to "race" to eat 6 Ritz Crackers and then whistle the first part to Old Mac Donald Had a Farm, yes, including the ee-ay-ee-ay-oh! You can watch a video of the Drinking Round HERE! Congrats to John Triviolta for winning the round of shots!

Two teams tied for the 2nd place prize so we had to resort to a tie breaker question! The question you ask? Here it is:

How many pitchers appeared in at least 1 game for the Texas Rangers throughout the 2010 season?

Hanky Panky guessed 7 and the Mighty Mighty Puffins, guessed 20. The answer; 22! M.M.P took home the $20 gift certificate 2nd place prize!

Coming in solely in 1st place was Alternative Facts! They scored a whopping 75 points and didn't look back from Round #2 on after they successfully doubled down! Dominating performance! In fact, you could say it was Dominating A.F.! Way to go! They always take such creative pictures for the recap!

QUIZ RECAP

Love was in thet air on Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills. Love for King Trivia that is! Here's the recap, you're gonna love it!

For the Drinking Round, teams were asked to come up with an animal celebrity hybrid, and write it on a sheet of paper and bring it to the quizmaster. Then each team had to draw a random celebrity animal hybrid from a hat. Once all teams had random names, they were given about 5 to 6 minutes to draw the animal celebrity hybrid they picked. ten of Donald Drumpfs' tweets on it. After everyone turned in their drawings, the quizmaster, and the bartenders chose their favorite one. There were many great name submissions and excellent representations of those names drawn by all teams. There's a pictures of most of the drawings above! There was Justin Beaver, Lemur Abdul Jabbar, Barack Ollama, Jane Finch, Jean Clam Van Damme, Olivia Newt John, and Jim Canary! The winners were Squirtle Squad with their excellent representation of Jim Canary! It was such an impressive drawing for 5-6 minutes worth of time! Way to go Squirtle Squad! Hope you liked those free shots!

Coming in 3rd place with 57 points was team Copy That! They were sitting in 7th place heading into the final round, but they successfully doubled down on Round 7 to get the go ahead into 3rd! Way to go! They won a $10 gift certificate!

Coming in 2nd place scoring 58 points, were the Douchecanoes! They entered into the 7th round in 2nd place anda scored enough points in round 7 to stay there and win a $20 good certificate! Awesome job! ?

And last but certainly never ever least was Pickwick's Pub trivia juggernauts, the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Always a strong showing from the Puffins, they scored another 80 points this week to win the 1st place prize, a $30 gift certificate! We're not worthy! We're not worthy!
