Each week coming to host King Trivia @ Pickwick's Pub is one of the highlights of my week! It's so great to see everyone smiling faces and to see everyone so excited to play and test their knowledge! If you've never been to King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub or any King Trivia before, you really are doing yourself a disservice! Why not try and come out to Pickwick's Pub on Wednesday night at 8 to see for yourself?!
This week we had another rock paper scissors tournament for the drinking round and the Mighty Puffins survived 5 rounds of best 2 out of 3 to secure their free shots!
And not only that, but they also won the first place prize and the $30 gift certificate for scoring 74 points during the game! Way to go guys!
Coming in second place just edging out of the two third place teams was Hair is Not an Option scoring 54 points! Another strong showing you two! Way to go!
And for third place, we had a tie between Hanky Panky and Diversity Poster who both scored 53 points! For the tiebreaker question they had to guess how many dollar bills were printed by the Federal Reserve in 2017. Both teams guessed 2,000,000,000 so had to both change to a different number so Hanky Panky guessed 2.8 billion, and Diversity Poster guessed 2.5 billion, and the correct answer was 2.1! Wish I could have given you both the 3rd place prize, but ultimately, Diversity Poster took home the $10 gift certificate for their team! Awesome job to everyone!

QUIZ RECAP
Holy standing-room-only King Trivia night Batman! 70 players came out to Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night to play for the top three spots to win gift certificate prizes and possibly a round of shots! It was nuts!
For the Drinking Round, each team sent up a player to play for the round of shots. Going head-to-head, those players had to take a pen that was tied to a string to their back center belt loop and try to get it inside the top of a wine bottle the fastest. See the pictures above to see what I'm talking about. With a blisteringly fast 10.23 seconds, The Stick Pickles killed it to win the round of shots for their team! Way to go!
Coming in third place scoring a whopping 68 points and winning the tiebreaker was Alternative Facts! They faced off against team Boner Thugz N Harmony and had to answer a final tiebreaker question about what the record was for total number of push-ups done continuously. The answer was 10,507!!! That is nuts! But Alternative Facts guessed the closest to that correct answer and won the $10 gift certificate for their team! Way to go guys!
Coming in second place, just edging out both Boner Thugz N Harmony and Alternative Facts, was ironically, team And in First Place, who scored 69 points to take home the $20 gift certificate! Whoop whoop!
Finally, scoring a whopping 82 points, were who else but the constantly tough team to beat, the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Another great showing and 3 successful double downs, including for the last two rounds, propelled them to victory! Congrats!!

QUIZ RECAP
Well, howdy there y'all!?! Ya wanna hear about the rip roarin' good time had at Pickwick's Pub on Wednesday night in Woodland Hills? Well?! Do ya?! Ok what if I promise to stop talkin' like a cowboy in the wild wild West? Ok, deal.
What got me all fired up to talk like that? The drinking round, that's what! Each team had to send up the player on their team with the best aim, because one by one, each team had one shot with a small Nerf dart gun to shoot off a ping pong ball sitting on the top of a pint glass. It took many tries, but finally, the first team to take the best shot, and shot off the ping pong ball to get the round of shots, was team Barry McCockener! Way to shoot for them shots! So maybe you can understand why I got all hyped up! The intensity and anticipation just built and built and got this quizmaster fired up! No pun intended!
Coming in third place after we completed seven rounds of play, was team, Twitter Ruins More Careers than Office X-Mas Parties, who, coincidentally enough, also won the award for longest team name! With 44 letters and 53 points scored, they took home the 3rd place prize, a $10 gift certificate! Awesome job team!
Coming in 2nd place, after leading in a tie for the first couple rounds of play, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Always a formidable team, they scored 58 points to take home the $20 gift certificate! Woot woot!
And in first place, another one of Pickwick's Pub's better King Trivia teams, and the epitome of friendship and diversity, was team Diversity Poster! They scored 60 points to take home the $30 gift certificate! They were also tied for the lead in rounds one and two, but were the only team to get all the answers right in round 3, and from there, they never gave up the lead again! Wow! Amazing!!!
