QUIZ RECAP
Another fun night was had by all at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia! Wanna hear about it? Let's go:
For the Drinking Round, teams had to send one player up to compete in a timed game. The players first had to tie a string with a pen attached to one end of it onto the back-middle belt loop of their pants. With the pen hanging down, and players behind a black line on the floor, on "GO" each player had to back up to an open wine bottle sitting on the floor. Each player's goal was to get the end of the pen into the open wine bottle as quickly as possible. Whoever did it the fastest, would win the round of shots for their team. Many teams tried, only one came out on top. Doing it in a rapid 10.6 seconds, 7 Wonders won the Drinking Round and the round of shots! Awesome job!
Coming in 3rd place with 37 points was the Mighty Nein. It was a pretty low scoring night for all teams, so 37 was enough for Mighty Nein to take home a $10 gift certificate! Good job!
In Second, scoring 41 points, and taking home the $20 gift certificate, was XenoPanky! A mash-up of Xenolux and Hanky Panky teams. Way to go!
And of course, returning to glory in first place scoring a surprisingly low score of 44 points, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Usually the Puffins score in the 80-100 point range, so for them to score only 44 points and take first, you know there were tough questions for all the teams! Nonetheless, wonderful job Puffins!

QUIZ RECAP
Wow! The first King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for February was a huge one! 80+ players packed the bar for one of the best trivia nights around!
For the Drinking Round, teams had to compete in a head to head rock paper scissors tournament. Last team standing would win the Drinking Round. It came down to 3 teams left so Hanky Panky, Fish and Chips, and Endless Potential faced off in a 3 person rock paper scissors round, where the person with the different shoot than the other two would win. Being the only person to throw scissors, Fish and Chips ran away with the Drinking Round win and a round of shots for her team.
There was a tie for third place, so one person from Richard Simmons' Housekeeper, and one person from Taking Care of Quizness faced off to see who would win the third place prize. They had to guess how many beans were in a 13.7 ounce can of Bush's Baked Beans on average. Both teams guessed pretty close to the same number, but Richard Simmons' Housekeeper came out victorious and won the 3rd place prize, a $10 gift certificate back to the bar.
Coming in 2nd place were Tom Brady's Balls! They scored 73 points and took home the $20 gift certificate! Awesome job!
And coming in 1st place was Hanky Panky! They haven't taken first in a while because usually the Mighty Mighty Puffins have it on lock, but this week they didn't even place in the top 4! That left the door open for Hanky Panky to come away with the win this week. They took home a $30 gift certificate. Excellent job guys!

QUIZ RECAP
What an amazing fun time again on Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia! Seriously, if you haven't been, you're truly missing out on a great time! Here's what happened this week....
For the Drinking Round teams had to send up one player to play in a game that originated on the game show Minute to Win It, but modified for the Drinking Round. Each player was given 30 seconds to try and blow playing cards off the top of a wine bottle. They could stop any time they wanted, and the objective was to blow off as many cards as possible without blowing all the cards off. Many teams tried, but only three were successful at leaving some playing cards on the top of the bottle. The first team to do it was the Mighty Mighty Puffins, who left 29 cards, then Naked Attraction did it and left 12 which many thought was going to be the winner. But finally, a team appropriately named for the round, Amy's Aces ended up leaving only an impressive 9 cards on the bottle to secure their Drinking Round win and a round of shots! Very skilled!
For third place, we had a tie breaker question between Johnny 5 is Alive and Alternative Facts. They had to guess closest to the correct number of how many stolen bases does the record holder of the most stolen bases have in his entire career. Both teams guessed a low number, but Alternative Facts was the closest and won the third place prize! Both teams scored 47 points.
In a rare second place, the Mighty Mighty Puffins took home the $20 gift certificate with their 54 points scored during the game.
Taking 1st thanks to a successful double or nothing in the final round, were the elated Xenolux, who always relishes a victory over their rivals the Puffins. They were able to guess 10 of the 14 current animals being produced in the boxes of Stauffer's Animal Crackers cookies and scored 62 points, which was good enough for them to take home the $30 gift certificate! Awesome job!
