QUIZ RECAP
Well it was a week before Christmas, and all through the bar, 85+ people were stirring with anticipation for King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia! The house was packed and the quizmaster full of cheer, all ready with questions for all teams to hear.
For the Drinking Round, teams sent one player up to compete, and one by one, each contestant would have to say a famous Christmas movie. If the movie wasn't on the list the contestant was out, and if they said a movie already guessed by another contestant they would be out. The last person standing would win the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team for whoever was drinking. Brainy Vixens won the round being the last person standing! Woot woot!
Coming in third place for the evening, was team Hanky Panky! Always a strong contender, they scored 65 points to be out the rest of the teams (but two) for the $10 gift certificate! Great job Hanky Panky!
In second place, scoring just a little bit more, with 66 points, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Usually coming in first most weeks, the Puffins have slipped a little in the past few weeks, but way to go for slipping a little and still scoring 2nd place and a $20 gift certificate! They have a couple weeks off to try and reclaim the top spot.
And last but not least, your first place winners, scoring a HUGE 78 points, were Xenolux! They won a $30 gift certificate for the 2nd time in a month! They are starting to be serious competition for the Puffins and Hanky Panky! Amazing job!
That wraps up this week of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub! We are on a 2 week hiatus until after the new year! We will see you in January for more King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills!

Another fun Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for along Trivia! We even had a quizmaster audition in the mix! Way to go Adam! Hope you have a long and successful King Trivia career! Certain
For the Drinking Round, teams had to send a player up to play a "Minute to Win It" game where they had to place pencils on the back of their hand, flip them up in the air, and catch them without letting any of the pencils hit the ground. Whichever team caught the most pencils would win. If a team dropped a pencil, than only the pencils caught counted. Able to catch 13 pencils successfully, the Brainy Vixens won the Drinking Round and a round of shots? Whoop whoop!
Coming in third place was Hanky Panky who just edged out the Brainy Vixens by 3 points to take home the $10 gift certificate. HP scores 68 points. Good job you guys!
Scoring 73 points and taking home the 2nd place prize of a $20 gift certificate were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Surprisingly, they didn't come in first place this week!
The team that did come in first was the appropriately named The Winners of This Round, who won all the rounds with their 78 points, and they took home the first place prize $30 gift certificate with their win! Awesome job!
That just about does it for King Trivia this week. Only one more King Trivia left in the year because there will not be a trivia night on Christmas or New Year's! So come on out to Pickwick's for the last one next week on the 18th! See you then!

QUIZ RECAP
Great Game tonite. Lots of doubles!! Most successful, and some not so.
5 doubles in rd 2 made it a 5-horse race in the beginning. Tom Brady's had the only double in rd 3, to pull slightly ahead. However rd 4 kind of tightened the pack back up, again, with Brady's, Xeno and Alfredo's setting the pace.
Round 5 saw 8 of the 9 teams successfully double, so nothing really changed. Doubles from Xeno and Bass brought the same 5 teams back into a bunch, with Xeno now in the lead.
Bristol Fashion, who hung around the leaders the entire game, mustered a middling score for rd 7, that could not keep pace and settled for 5th place.
Xeno scored a 10 to hold the lead, while Brady's 10 held 2nd. Bass and Alfredo's finished in a tie for 3rd, taking us to the tie-breaker. Alfredo's won the tie-breaker to wrest 3rd place from Bass.
