Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub was another awesome night with a packed bar full of nerds ready to win prizes.

For the drinking round teams had to come up with a haiku of any topic, but team Alright Alright Alright killed it with their celebrity haiku:

Mcconnaghey says,

It'd be cooler of you did,

I love my Lincoln

With that, they won a round of shots!

In 3rd place were The Mighty Mighty Puffins with a high score of 70 points, but not enough to take home 1st or second. They led the night all the way through round number 4, but ultimately, a succesful double down by the Survivors in round number five put them in the lead. However, The Survivors would only take home 2nd place with 76 points. That's because they too were done in by a succesful double down, make that two succesful double or nothings by team Hanky Panky in rounds number 6 and 7 to give them the first place victory with 89 points! Way to go guys!

QUIZ RECAP

Wow! Wednesday night's at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia has been blowing up lately! In fact, if you aren't there now, you're probably in the minority! FOMO must not affect you. Well I was there so let me tell you about it....

For the drinking round each team had to make paper airplanes out of a half sheet of paper. Whichever team's plane was able to avoid obstacles and fly the farthest would win a round of shots for their team. Well the Survivors took the first place prize with their playing flying from the back of the bar to feet from the front door of the bar. Pretty impressive guys! Coming in 3rd place and winning the $10 gift certificate were the Mighty Mighty Puffins, who like most weeks, were leading the game up until the final round. With two other teams successfully doubling on the final round and the Puffins only scoring 9 points on the final round, they were bumped into third place with a still impressive 63 points.

One of the teams that jumped the Puffins to steal 2nd place was Hanky Panky. They got off to a slow start and were actually near the bottom until round 6 and 7 when they successfully doubled in both rounds to score 40 points in the final 2 rounds alone! With that, they ended up in 2nd place with a total of 64 points, only one point higher than the Puffins.

And if course, for first place, Bristol Fashion was able to score 71 points.

QUIZ RECAP

Another fun night of trivia happened on Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia. Did you miss it? Why? What the neck better did you have to do? Walk your salamander? I better see you there next Wednesday night at 8!

Anyway, for the drinking round, teams had to come up with Super Zeroes. They had to pick a lane superhero power and give that superhero a name. We had tons of good suggestions, but The Mighty Mighty Puffins won the drinking round With a superzero whose powers was the ability to make things slightly damp, yes, he was The Moistener!

The Puffins also scored the 3rd place prize with 54 points.

In second place was The Survivors with 57 points, stealing away second from the Puffins in round 6 after getting all the answers right.

But stealing first place away from The Survivors was team Vader is Coming who successfully doubled on rounds 5 and 6 and finished the night with 63 points!
